Why have a new construction inspected?

Nashville’s booming real estate industry has resulted in workmanship defects on new construction homes becoming more and more common. Builders expect you to hire a home inspector to identify these quality control issues to be fixed. Local Building Codes Inspectors only review minimum construction requirements and do not comment on cosmetic issues or quality of construction. These issues will not be fixed without a detailed list of repairs provided to you in a home inspection report!
